Vagad Rajput Community ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to preserving your trust and protecting the personal data of all community members using our website (vagadrajput.com) and our official Android application Vagad Rajput.
1. Introduction & Community Purpose
The Vagad Rajput platform is a non-commercial community initiative created exclusively to unite, connect, celebrate achievements, and preserve genealogical heritage for members of the Rajput community in the Vagad region (covering Banswara, Dungarpur, Sagwara, and adjoining areas). This Privacy Policy explains our data collection, security, and user rights.
2. Information We Collect
To provide community features, we collect the following limited categories of information:
- Personal Identity Data: Full Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Gotra, Native Village, Current Address, Mobile Number, and optional Email Address.
- Genealogy & Family Tree: Father's Name, Mother's Gotra, Grandfather's Name, and linked family relations to build the authentic community Family Tree (Vanshavali).
- Account Credentials: Mobile phone number and One-Time Password (OTP) verification tokens.
- Device & Notification Tokens: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) Device Tokens to deliver real-time push notifications for announcements, events, and daily birthday wishes.
- Uploaded Media: Profile photos, appreciation certificates, job postings, and condolences notices.
3. How We Use Your Information
All information is used strictly for community welfare and coordination:
- Authenticating and verifying community membership via designated village Booth Level Officers (BLOs).
- Powering the searchable Member Directory and Family Match features.
- Sending automated daily birthday greetings to community members at 08:00 AM.
- Delivering important community alerts regarding meetings, events, condolences, and skill development programs.
4. Push Notifications & Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
Our mobile app uses Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to provide real-time updates. When you install our app, an anonymous device token is generated and securely registered with our server. You can enable or disable push notification permissions at any time through your Android device settings (Settings → Apps → Vagad Rajput → Notifications).
5. Device Permissions
The mobile application requests permissions only when required for specific features:
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required on Android 13+ to display community alerts, news, and birthday greetings.
- Camera / Storage / Photos: Requested only when you choose to upload a profile photo, appreciation document, or event image.
- Internet & Network State: To synchronize community updates with our secure backend API.
6. Data Security & Confidentiality
We implement strict security measures to protect member data:
- All data in transit is encrypted using 256-bit SSL/TLS (HTTPS) encryption.
- We never sell, rent, or trade member personal information to third-party commercial advertisers.
- Data access is restricted to verified community members and authorized administrative coordinators.
7. Third-Party Infrastructure
We rely on trusted technology providers to support our platform:
- Google Firebase (Alphabet Inc.): Push notification delivery and analytics infrastructure. (Google Privacy Policy)
- MSG91 SMS Gateway: For delivering fast and secure OTP verification messages.
8. Account & Data Deletion (Play Store Compliance)
We respect your right to manage or delete your data at any time.

9. Child Safety Standards (CSAE & CSAM Zero-Tolerance Policy)
Vagad Rajput Community enforces a strict, zero-tolerance policy against Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE) in compliance with Google Play Child Safety Standards and applicable child protection laws (including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act).
- Zero Tolerance & Immediate Termination: Any account attempting to post, transmit, or facilitate child sexual abuse material or child exploitation will be immediately and permanently banned.
- In-App Reporting Mechanism: Users can flag and report inappropriate content, media, or safety concerns directly through the app or by emailing our designated safety team.
- Law Enforcement Escalation: We promptly preserve evidence and report any identified CSAM/CSAE incidents to national law enforcement authorities (National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal - cybercrime.gov.in) and international organizations (NCMEC).
